Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about leveraging research and data to help drive impactful business decisions? As a Product Management Intern, you will provide support to our Product Management team with market research, data analysis, and insights that will help guide the development of innovative solutions for our customers. This role offers the chance to work closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to make a tangible impact by influencing product strategies and helping shape tools that address real-world challenges.  

 

This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).   

 

As part of the EIS Summer Intern Program, interns receive a dedicated orientation program starting on June 2nd, and participate in enrichment and training events with fellow interns across the company. What You'll Do

  • Conduct Market Research: Analyze competitor and customer trends, identify insights, and present actionable recommendations to the Product Management team. This market research will aide Product Management as we prepare to release new/upcoming products.  
  • Support Content Targeting: Assist Product Managers in identification and selection of new content for Research Databases (scraping large title lists from websites, identifying subject-specific content, etc…) Validate title-level metadata for previously identified content. 
  • Assist with Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on targeting and licensing for ongoing initiatives.  
  • Curate Topical Content: Conduct image research and evaluation of the data and content that powers our Research Database landing page 
  • Analyze Customer Data: Examine search logs, user data & other data to inform content curation and interface design for our Research Databases. 
  • Perform Other Tasks As Assigned 
  • Utilize Word, Excel, and other EIS proprietary systems as needed to perform above tasks

You’ll be joining the dynamic Research Databases & Flipster Product Management team, a group of 17 talented professionals dedicated to advancing EBSCO’s position as a global leader in high-quality products and expert content. As a team, we collaborate across the organization and with external partners to understand customer challenges and deliver innovative solutions. 

About You

  • Undergraduate student graduating December 2025 or later, eligible to work in USA 
  • Demonstrated interest for learning more about Product Management  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Basic knowledge of tools such as the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, etc…)

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
