Your Opportunity

As a Topic Editor for DynaMed, you will be the primary authority on assigned content within your specialty, providing guidance on the improvement of existing content and the development of new content. You will accomplish this by reviewing content created by an in-house editorial team, assessing clinical relevance, accuracy, quality, and currency.

 

This is a part-time, paid contract position. Editorial work can be performed remotely and requires less than10% time commitment, with flexibility to allow for competing priorities. 

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate existing content for accuracy, currency, and clinical relevance.
  • Provide clinical guidance on new content development, including the scope and organization of topics.
  • Contribute to the development of diagnostic and management algorithms (where applicable).
  • Outline the clinical landscape of assigned topics, including key branch points in clinical decision making, new developments in diagnosis and management, and any related controversies in the field.

You will work closely with a highly-skilled and knowledgeable team of writers, editors, and clinicians in your specialty area to create and further improve high-quality clinical content.

About You

  • MD, DO or equivalent
  • Specialty board certification in sepsis
  • > 3 years of direct patient care experience managing patients with sepsis
  • Ongoing participation in clinical activity
  • Experience with MS Office including Word with use of Review functionality (track changes) and Excel
