Your Opportunity

EBSCO Information Services provides a broad range of content and technology solutions for academic, medical, K–12, public library, law, corporate, and government markets. We are committed to supporting our employees' professional development, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional service to our customers and partners. EBSCO is seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Publisher Liaison II to work with our Product and Vendor Authority Team. This individual will serve as a key liaison between EBSCO and both internal teams and external publisher partners, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our title database. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative spirit.

What You'll Do

• Retrieve, analyze, and interpret subscription data with the goal of maintaining accurate records in our title database.
• Review, enter and update bibliographic, pricing, and contact information for journal, magazine, database and other subscription products.
• Provide prompt and professional support to internal departments and external publisher partners via phone and email.
• Use mathematical and analytical skills to compute discounts, taxes, commissions, and pricing structures.
• Build and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets, including the use of advanced formulas for data analysis and calculations.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, pricing issues, and partner queries; escalate as appropriate and follow through to resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify best practices, streamline workflows, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

About You

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas), Outlook, and Word.
• Strong mathematical skills; ability to understand and compute percentages, taxes, discounts, and formulas.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

What Sets You Apart:

• Prior experience working in publishing, content operations, or a similar data-driven environment.
• Experience working with databases or data entry systems.
• Familiarity with bibliographic data, academic publishing, or metadata management is a plus.

Pay Range

USD $36,300.00 - USD $51,860.00 /Yr.
