Your Opportunity

The Account Processor provides records to GOBI customers purchasing GOBI’s MARC record services. Materials include print, visual, audio and digital resources. To support this activity, this person creates record files, distributes them to customers, prints spine labels, creates and distributes the invoices for those services.

 

This is an onsite position located in Contoocook, NH.    

What You'll Do

  • Generate and deliver files to customers for GOBI Library Technical Services (LTS).
  • Process customizations on bibliographic records and materials as designated by account.
  • Work in cooperation with the Book Processing unit to print and distribute spine labels for shelf-ready books.
  • Generate production paperwork used in performing daily tasks.
  • Create and distribute invoices to customers for GOBI LTS.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide input for the establishment of system policies and procedures, standards and schedules.
  • Provide support and assistance to LTS Specialists, Account Support Specialist Unit, and the Cataloging Unit as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Your Team:

You will be a member of the Workflows Integration Unit of Library Technical Services, a team of eight staff members who support the integration of technical services with library customers’ integrated library systems (ILSs).

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in library technical services, book processing, or related areas
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access
  • Ability to work in a production environment.

 

What sets you apart:

  • Knowledge and understanding of IBM AS400 Power 10 systems
  • Familiarity with MARC records
  • Basic computer competencies, including the Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Web browsers
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and support effective working relationships among company departments, with professional and paraprofessional staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented, thorough, and precise.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize to work effectively both independently and/or in a cooperative, team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.

Pay Range

USD $31,200.00 - USD $44,395.00 /Yr.
