Your Opportunity

The Multimedia Editor will be an important member of the Nursing and Allied Health - EBSCO Health team. This team produces training and education videos, illustrations, and animations through creative and original techniques by applying their knowledge of software applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Blender, and DaVinci Resolve. Although most content is clinical in nature, healthcare/clinical background is not required.

 

 

What You'll Do

The Multimedia Editor will be involved in media production from beginning to end (storyboarding/sketching to complete rendering of media and review/approval). Rooted in EBSCO Health media product design, the Multimedia Editor will lead projects and collaborate with the editorial team to execute and complete multimedia-related projects in the pipeline within deadlines. Projects include videos, illustrations, 2d/3d animation, gifs, and other multimedia projects. In addition, the Multimedia Editor will work with contract actors/talent and clinical editors to assure context and content quality, as well as clinical accuracy of materials produced. This position will work in concert with other team editors on projects as needed to achieve overall team/department goals. The Multimedia Editor is also responsible for keeping current with media technology, software, and processes to continuously improve production quality and output. 

 

Your Team:

You will work with a small group of skilled media editors to create individual and team projects. The Media Team collaborates with clinical and content editors to ensure clinical accuracy of media produced.

About You

  • Portfolio and/or reel submission must be included in application
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Broadcasting, Film, Video Production, Graphic Arts, or Media Communications) – portfolio and/or reel submission or link will be required
  • 2+ years of demonstrable experience working on multimedia projects
  • 2+ years of experience with software applications: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • 1+ years of technical skill experience: utilizing digital 4k cameras, drawing tablet/digital illustration, editing software for audio/sound (Adobe Audition/Audacity), and computer (PC and Mac) as tools to develop media
  • 1+ years of experience in Color Correction and Grading in Adobe Premiere and/or DaVinci Reserve
  • Skills in both digital art/illustration and video editing
  • Knowledge of Blender software for 3d modeling and animation

Pay Range

USD $56,785.00 - USD $81,120.00 /Yr.
