Your Opportunity

Archives are more than content—they are the cultural and intellectual record of humanity. They are fragile, finite, and essential to research and understanding. With EBSCO’s proven platform, global library partnerships, and legacy of sustainable access, we can transform archives from static repositories into living digital resources that connect past to present.

This role will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution required to build a world-class archival product line focused on preservation, perpetual access, and modern discovery—anchored in business sustainability and customer trust.

This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).

What You'll Do

  • Own and define the long-term vision and strategy for EBSCO’s Archives portfolio, aligning mission-driven impact with scalable business growth.
  • Build and lead the product organization, including product managers and research specialists, while partnering closely with content licensing, technology, content management, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Identify and secure high-value historical collections through strategic partnerships, publisher relationships, and global content sourcing.
  • Develop and present proposals for SaaS-based tools that enhance archive products, such as text/data mining, visualization, and advanced search. Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate feasibility and prioritize impactful opportunities.
  • Engage directly with academic librarians, scholars, and cultural heritage institutions to ensure product direction reflects the evolving needs of research communities.
  • Represent EBSCO as a thought leader in archival innovation at industry events, advisory boards, and strategic partnerships.
