Your Opportunity

We are seeking an Agile Development Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our enterprise cloud infrastructure initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, Istio, and CI/CD practices within AWS, along with the leadership experience to guide teams managing large-scale, complex, distributed systems.

As a key leader in our Cloud & DevOps organization, you will help shape platform reliability, operational excellence, and scalability across multiple lines of business while enabling faster and safer delivery through automation and standardized practices.

What You'll Do

Role Functions:

  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers to design, implement, and manage cloud-native solutions by fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and psychological safety.
  • Lead and mentor development teams in designing and deploying AI-driven solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Lead UI/UX teams by driving the design and implementation of interfaces suitable for clinical personas.
  • Own and evolve enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms (Amazon EKS), including architecture, multi-tenancy, RBAC, and governance.
  • Architect and manage robust LinkerD or Istio service mesh, ensuring secure, observable, and resilient service-to-service communication.
  • Drive modernization efforts through the design and implementation of GitOps-based CI/CD workflows that enable scalable and secure deployments across hundreds of microservices.
  • Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and enforce operational standards and cloud best practices.
  • Work with System Architects and DevSecOps teams to optimize our AWS environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for cloud spend; implement cost controls and optimization strategies at scale.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud and DevOps technologies and assess their applicability to our environment.
  • Lead by example to drive continuous improvement in system reliability and team practices.

Your Team(s)

You’ll be welcomed as a member of our Clinical Decisions Knowledge Management Domain that plays a vital role in serving expert evidence-based-curated content to our nursing and clinical client personas.  Our teams enjoy solving problems in a collaborative hands-on fashion to expedite the delivery of content, enhance the usability of our systems and enforce compliance and industry standards suitable for a medical market.

About You

  • Understanding of servant leadership principles (empathy, team and individual growth, fostering relationships, listening, awareness)
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) or relevant experience

  • 5 + years in an enterprise software development environment
  • Proficiency in UI/UX Languages (HTML5, React, TypeScript)

  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 13485, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
  • Demonstrated experience in information security with a concentration on DevSecOps culture.
